Shoptiques.com is a fashion e-commerce site that brings unique boutiques from around the world to your desktop. I was the sole designer at Shoptiques.com from private beta to well past launch. I designed the UX/UI for every page of the site including homepage, product and checkout page flows. Projects called for a fresh, open category/product pages that brand full attention to the clothing. I also created new ways to shop on the site by including boutique and neighborhood pages which helped users learn our story and lent to the concept of a local boutique shopping experience.
I routinely updated the experience by creating every visual display banner that appeared on the site. These rich media graphics showcased new arrivals, promoted trends and encouraged discovery.
To further tell Shoptiques' story, we created an editorial layer to the site. The Edit was a digital fashion magazine that was filled with content by our editorial team and provided a 360° view of the latest in fashion, style moguls to watch and boutique stories that lead users to our shopping experience.
I designed all pages and elements for this channel including homepage, category and article pages. I created various article page layouts for The Edit to cater to featured content, product mapping, and varying images types. All visual needs and graphics were sourced, edited, collaged, and product mapped by me.
